We encourage two-way dialogue by organising the YourVoice employee engagement survey annually and follow up the results through action points each year.

We embrace diversity. Basware’s 1,350 employees work across 14 countries serving customers in more than 100 geographies. The combination of different backgrounds, gender and age ensures diverse capabilities.

During the past year, we have been celebrating Diversity and Inclusion and raising awareness amongst employees through various activities such as Movember, Diwali, Black History month, World Hispanic Month, Independence Day and launched the Women at Work and Young Professionals mentoring programs.

A FOCUS ON WELLBEING

Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees is one of the key focus areas at Basware.

In many circumstances, our flexible work environment allows for fully remote, hybrid, or fully in-office work situations. Many of our positions enable our employees to work from wherever they feel most comfortable and confident.

In 2021, we are concentrating on three focus areas in regards to our work initiatives: a hybrid model of remote work, how we work, and communicating more efficiently. We emphasise working smarter, not harder, and boast a managerial team who puts their teammates first and advocates for them while enabling growth.

We host webinars, learning days, and utilise multiple collaborative technologies and software  to help support everyone with the day-to-day aspects of working, as well as for many, a new way of working remotely.

WOMEN’S MENTORING PROGRAM

In early 2021, Basware launched a new Women’s Mentoring Program that partners female employees with women in leadership to help them develop their ideal career paths, navigate a variety of situations influenced by gender-related issues, and offer a forum of support.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS PROGRAM

Established in 2021, the Young Professional (YP) is a community established especially for people in their first or second full-time job.

It's designed for YPs looking for growth, challenges, and the desire to progress both professionally and personally – a program to help build on their own career aspirations.

Monthly inspirational sessions will be organised where we can connect, interact and grow together.
