EDF Renewables employs 4,775 people and generates turnover of €2.14 billion, with operations worldwide. The company manages 15,000 third parties, concentrated in France, Belgium, and the UK, and runs SAP Cloud ERP. The Treasury, IT Security, Accounting, and Procurement teams were all involved in the project.

Before Trustpair, EDF Renewables had no dedicated tool to monitor vendor banking data. Time-consuming manual controls were completed by the Treasury team using scans, covering more than 15,000 vendors. The team spent significant time on the work and lacked efficiency.
There was no data reliability or guarantee against fraud. Payment processes were fallible and insecure.
EDF Renewables set two goals:
Monika Razny, Treasury and Corporate Finance Manager at EDF Renewables explained, "Before Trustpair, we controlled banking data with scans. We had no way of validating the authenticity of vendor banking data. We could detect mistakes, but that was all. We had no guarantee against fraud."
EDF Renewables integrated Trustpair into SAP Cloud ERP using Trustpair's native, certified connector for SAP. Vendors are now automatically controlled when they are added or when data is modified, without human intervention for most records.
We've gone from manual and time-consuming fraud controls to automated bank account validation done directly in SAP. The workload has been drastically reduced and payment security is now guaranteed."

Controls are automated in SAP. Vendor bank account validation is systematic, and fraud is avoided. International vendor data is secured using an extensive network of bank account databases.
Manual account validation was removed, giving the Treasury team more time. 83% of account validation controls are completed in less than 24 hours, increasing efficiency. Controls take place directly in SAP through the connector, improving the user experience.
Razny noted, "The native connector to SAP Cloud ERP has increased our operational efficiency. We manage our vendor data in SAP. It's much easier to monitor banking data directly in the ERP rather than in separate software."
"The whole EDF Renewables team felt guided and supported during the rollout. Everything went smoothly, and the solution was deployed in three months," continued Razny.
By connecting Trustpair natively to SAP Cloud ERP, EDF Renewables replaced manual, scan-based checks across 15,000 vendors with automated, systematic validation. The Treasury team has saved 60 workdays, 83% of controls now complete in under 24 hours, and payment security is guaranteed directly inside the ERP.
