Trustpair
Danone runs a global business built on thousands of supplier relationships across every region. In 2023, the company launched an internal initiative called "Vault," with a goal of reaching compliant, secure, and controlled bank data management to reduce fraud risk and enable safer payment processing. Danone's Global Business Services (GBS) team selected Trustpair to secure vendor data across every business entity worldwide.
75,000
vendors audited and cleaned
100%
security with systematic account validation
82%
of controls are completed in under 72 hours
Danone worked with thousands of suppliers across markets including France, Poland, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands, running SAP as its core ERP. Before Trustpair, Danone had no centralized tool to audit and clean vendor data, which caused the following challenges:
Time-consuming and manual controls were executed by the GBS team for new or modified vendors. The team wasted time and wasn't efficient enough. About 80 to 90 manual controls were executed daily.
There was no vendor data reliability or guarantee against fraud. Payment processes were fallible and insecure.
Danone set two goals for the project:
We work with thousands of suppliers. Cyber-criminals are keen to intercept our interaction with suppliers and change their bank account data for fraud. That's why we initiated the Vault Project: to increase our level of security. We were looking for an efficient way to improve security while still running our business operations smoothly. That's why we chose Trustpair as a partner on this journey."

Trustpair has really lived up to the expectations set against the main KPIs we defined at the start of the project. It's safe to say we've reached both of our objectives: security and efficiency."

We really saw reactivity and proactiveness on Trustpair's side to meet our needs and requirements. Every request or new challenge was met with a solution."

Trustpair audited Danone's vendor data in batches by geography to identify erroneous records, then helped Danone clean each batch before their migration to SAP Cloud ERP. Vendors are now automatically validated on the platform whenever a new vendor is added or banking data is updated, with no manual intervention required.
70% of vendors are validated worldwide. International vendor data is secured through an advanced risk-scoring algorithm. The vendor database is cleaned, enriched, and successfully migrated to SAP Cloud ERP.
Controls are fully automated. Vendor bank account validation now runs systematically, and fraud is avoided.
82% of controls are completed in under 72 hours, improving efficiency across the team. Beyond the platform itself, Danone highlighted the value of working directly with the Trustpair team.
Specific governance built for the project, with a Business Stream and a Technical Stream for 100% transparency and efficiency.
A dedicated team mobilized on the project, with a Global Project Manager, a Customer Success Manager, a technical expert, and a day-to-day support team.
Additional training sessions and workshops to answer Danone's needs and help their internal teams handle specific cases and situations.
Danone's Vault Project shows how a centralized approach to vendor data validation replaces manual, fragmented checks with a scalable, automated process. With 75,000 vendors audited and continuous validation now built into daily operations, Danone's Global Business Services team has the security and efficiency it set out to achieve, with a foundation ready to support its SAP Cloud ERP migration.
