iGov Survey and Basware teamed up to take a look about how organisations across local government, housing, and emergency services were approaching electronic invoicing (e-invoicing). Based on the research, we discovered that most participants from these various industries agreed that e-invoicing is a solid way of improving payment time.

Here’s what else we found out:

  • 61% of participants said that e-invoicing gave them greater visibility of their workflow process

  • 40% stated they lacked the proper resources to implement e-invoicing

  • 30% faced difficult in gaining supplier adoption
