On-Demand Webinar: Navigating the Polish KSeF Mandate

Written by Basware Representative | Nov 25, 2025 11:10:41 AM

From 2026, Poland is moving to a mandatory e-invoicing control model through the KSeF central exchange. Invoices will no longer flow directly from supplier to buyer. Instead, they must pass through the government portal in a structured FA_VAT.xml format, and buyers will retrieve them from KSeF. For finance and compliance teams, this means rethinking established invoicing, AP, and T&E processes in a short timeframe.

Watch our on-demand webinar to hear Global Compliance Director Gustav and Basware host Omar answer the most common questions about the Polish KSeF mandate. Gain practical insight on what KSeF really changes for suppliers and buyers and how to prepare your organization.

Key takeaways:

  • Understand who the KSeF mandate applies to, which invoices are in scope, and which are excluded, including small entrepreneur thresholds and T&E scenarios.
  • Learn the concrete steps suppliers and buyers must take to register in KSeF, send and receive structured invoices, work with NIP numbers, and use the KSeF ID in payment references.
  • See how QR codes, invoice copies outside KSeF, and attachment rules work in practice, including when and why parallel invoice flows are needed.
  • Get clarity on timelines, archiving obligations, offline modes, and how disputes, corrections, and self-billing are handled in KSeF.
  • Hear how the current Polish model relates to upcoming EU ViDA requirements and what may still change in the years ahead.
