ESPOO, Finland, 15 February, 2018, Basware, the global leader in networked source-to-pay solutions, e-invoicing, and innovative financing services, has just signed an agreement to supply Anglican Community Services in Sydney, otherwise known as Anglicare Sydney, to use Basware’s purchase to pay solution delivered via the cloud.
The SaaS solution includes many of Basware’s core features, including: procurement, marketplace, accounts payable automation, scan & capture service, analytics as well as the supplier portal and vendor manager. Michael Pyliotis, Vice President, APAC at Basware says, “We are excited to form a strategic partnership with Anglicare and provide our comprehensive purchase-to-pay cloud services that will enhance their financial operations and provide the visibility they need to make better financial decisions."
Anglicare Sydney is a large organisation working in the Aged Care and Community Services sectors. Its Villages operate Retirement Living Units and Residential Aged Care Services. A wide range of Community Services include Fostering, Counselling, Family and Children Services, Mental Health, Migrant and Refugee Services, and shops. In 2016, Anglicare and Anglican Retirement Villages (ARV) merged under the Anglican Community Services banner and formed a shared services environment to consolidate resources and boost efficiency for the not-for-profit organisation.
Anglicare selected Basware due to their extensive experience in their industry, as well as their best-practice Purchase to Pay processes which are available out of the box and ready for configuration in the SaaS platform. Basware offered the best fit for Anglicare’s requirements, enhanced usability for the end user, great visibility of information and functionality that will support their operations. This will provide many benefits to Anglicare as they seek to further simplify their operations and standardise processes and allow Anglicare to spend smarter, while gaining greater control across their purchasing and accounts payables departments.
Pyliotis continues, “With Basware purchase-to-pay cloud services, Anglicare will be able to control, gain clear visibility and manage 100% of their spend whist automating their back office processes. In addition, Anglicare will benefit from Basware’s extensive analytics capabilities as they gain actionable data to better control the purchase-to-pay process and improve visibility into their organisation-wide spend, suppliers and invoices.
