Espoo, Finland, 26 November 2018 — Basware (Nasdaq: BAS1V), the global leader in networked source-to-pay solutions, e-invoicing and innovative financing services, and Aeonvis, an Italian consulting and system integration company that implements and manages customers change programs, have signed a partnership agreement where Aeonvis will have the opportunity to offer Basware P2P and e-Invoicing solutions in Italy.
The partnership with Aeonvis directly supports Basware's strategy to extend its coverage to southern Europe. Aeonvis’ capability to help local and international companies to implement digital transformation projects, convinced Basware to work with this 15-year-old company.
“Italy is one of the leading European countries in implementing e-invoicing infrastructure. By the start of 2019 B2B e-invoicing will become mandatory for all companies over there. We want to offer our world-leading solutions to support this great efficiency gain for Italian companies,” says Nicolas Gudin du Pavillon, Director Southern Europe at Basware.
Basware works closely with the Italian and global partners to keep up-to-date with the developments surrounding the Italian government's regulations and therefore ensure that its customers remain compliant with e-invoicing processes in Italy.
“The relationship with Basware has rapidly converged to a strategic partnership. We believe that the combination of our competences with the effectiveness of the Basware platform and network are the right solutions for the market; this is key for the growth plan of our company,” describes Claudio Abbiati, Sales Director at Aeonvis.
