Basware and TriFinance Announce Partnership for Specialised Offer in Procure-to-Pay Services

Erembodegem/Antwerp 28 October 2020 - Basware and TriFinance Belgium have signed a partnership for cooperation in the field of e-procurement services. The partnership enables both companies to offer strong, pragmatic solutions in the field of Procure-to-Pay.

Process optimisation

The partnership is between Basware and TriFinance through its TriFinance Blue Chip Boutique CFO Services, one of the advisory units specialized in risk management, process optimization and transformation. The cooperation starts in Belgium and will later be extended to the Netherlands and Germany.

“Basware is a strong global player,” says CFO Services Client Partner Filip Ceulemans. “In projects where we optimize the Procure-to-Pay process with clients, the Basware technology is a valuable add-on to our process improvement. The choice for Basware fits in with our strategy to structurally collaborate with technology partners for the optimisation of business processes.”

One of the aims of the partnership is for existing customers to benefit from the relationship between the two companies. Basware can introduce TriFinance for a more conceptual framework and pragmatic advice and TriFinance can bring significant economies of scale through the introduction of Basware solutions around procurement, including those where vendor selection based on RFQ is the norm.

Completely new projects can also be tackled jointly to offer clients a tailor-made total solution. The end customer then receives an optimal end solution that includes both Basware's SaaS services and the entire TriFinance framework, from consulting, change management, business optimisation and so on.

“The services of Basware and TriFinance are very complementary with an enormous added value for the end customers,” said Dany De Budt, country manager at Basware Benelux. “With TriFinance we have found an excellent party with an important network. End customers will certainly benefit from this because they can count on additional service and expertise."
