New Customer Acquisitions Including Lear Corporation and Tennis Australia Confirm Basware’s Position

ESPOO, Finland, June 15, 2017 – Basware’s role as a leader in the purchase-to-pay software world has been confirmed with recent new customer wins around the globe.

Basware reports a number of new customer wins. These wins reinforce Basware’s position as a procure-to-pay leader, as stated in the “The Forrester Wave™: eProcurement, Q2 2017” report by Forrester Research earlier this year.

In the U.S. Basware added Lear Corporation as a new customer, while Tennis Australia joined the customer list in APAC. In Europe, Basware has won new deals in both the Finnish and the UK public sectors.

Ilari Nurmi, SVP, Purchase to Pay at Basware, comments: “With more than 2,700 enterprise customers in the Basware family we welcome these new additions. This demonstrates the continued value that customers are seeing in our solution offering, around the world. Our customers are able to use the largest open business network in the world, and combine this with our leading, cloud-based purchase-to-pay suite.

Furthermore, with Basware’s recent announcement of its strategic sourcing offering, Nurmi confirms that, “Basware is now able to provide our customers with a full, one-stop-shop for their entire Source-to-Pay (S2P) requirements.”
