Basware continues to add value to the network

It’s January 2016 and it’s the start of something big – I can sense it. I can sense that this is the year. This is the year when e-invoicing and B2B networks become essential platforms for business growth. Through Basware, over 1 million organisations (public and private) are using the network to connect, transact and manage their cash flows. Network services like the Business Directory, Vendor Manager, Financing Services and more (all within the network) are adding value to buyer – supplier relationships. This is the year the network will help you connect and grow your business.

How to join Basware's global business network

The network is getting pretty exciting. Joining the network is similar to joining any social media network:  you sign up, create a profile, bring in your contacts and then connect to them across the network.

Vendor Management – to keep supplier data up-to-date

The network’s Vendor Management service allows you to give your suppliers access to their own data – so that they can keep it up-to-date. This is a win-win for both sides as suppliers can keep frequently changing supplier data up-to-date- thereby reducing supplier inquiries, late/erroneous payments and form submission requests. And, when you set your suppliers up in Vendor Management, you can also introduce them to your e-invoicing or early payment program – all services within the network.

Business Directory – the network’s phonebook

Let’s talk about the Business Directory. Why? Because it’s a great tool for suppliers to find additional customers on the network in order to expand their e-invoicing usage. It’s like a network phone book listing  hundreds of thousands of companies who are currently able to send and receive e-invoices. Chances are good that even if you ARE sending e-invoices, you aren’t sending them to all the businesses who are capable of receiving them.

Sign in or sign up to the Basware Network, and the Business Directory is right there – search it, find your customers (or your suppliers) to see if they are e-invoice capable and what their e-invoicing address is. It’s super easy, there’s no reason you shouldn’t check it out right this minute (you’ve already spent more time reading this than it will take to sign-in and search the directory).

Okay, that was short and sweet but then again, so is the effort required to use the Business Directory. To learn more about the Basware Network, read the factsheet
