ESPOO, Finland, October 26, 2018, Basware (Nasdaq: BAS1V), the global leader in networked source-to-pay solutions, e-invoicing and innovative financing services, has now further expanded its ability to provide transparency across supply chain reporting within aged care by expanding its product offering to Scalabrini, an innovative, not-for-profit aged care provider with residential villages across metropolitan and rural New South Wales, Australia.
Scalabrini turned to Basware to provide them with the software that enables them to meet their fiscal and legislative requirements long into the future, as part of their compassionate investment in providing freedom, privacy and dignity to their customers.
Scalabrini chose Basware due to the full range of Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) products that Basware is able to offer, out of the box, and the ease-of-use and flexibility for users. Michael Pyliotis, Vice President, APAC at Basware, says “As a full P2P system Basware has all the functionality required to make life easier for users, which makes it a logical choice for companies looking to expand part of their P2P system to include the full suite.”
He continues, “This win demonstrates Basware’s commitment to moving our on-premise customers to the cloud and it is an honor to extend the solid relationship that we have with this long-term customer and help them gain increased control over their spend. Not only will the purchasing element of Basware’s software allow Scalabrini to inspect and visualise their historical spend data, but it will also help them provide continuous improvement with key suppliers and measure their competitive cost per bed more effectively. The complete visibility of spend will also enable them to remain competitive into the future.”
While Scalabrini joined Basware as one of the first Australian customers to use Basware on-premise, they have now committed to moving their invoicing software to Basware cloud, transforming their solution in order to experience benefits such as compliance, agility, improved support, better security and continuously improved functionality, while relieving the burden of on-premise upgrades.
This move is also allowing Scalabrini to improve control over their purchases and levels of spend, by adding Basware’s procurement and marketplace offerings to their P2P software suite.
