BasWare names I Creative as Partner of the Year 2006
Growing global partner network key growth driver of BasWare’s business
BasWare, leading provider of purchase to pay automation software, today announced that its Dutch partner I Creative has been named as partner of the year 2006. The award, received at BasWare’s annual partner conference in Nice, recognized I Creative’s excellent performance in successfully selling and delivering BasWare Enterprise Purchase to Pay solutions to an increasing number of leading Dutch organizations in both the private and public sector. BasWare’s partner network currently spans more than 50 resellers globally. In 2007, the partner network will be extended to Eastern Europe and further to North America.
In 2006, I Creative secured a significant number of important contracts including leading organizations such as UWV, Univé and Landal Greenparks. The company also opened several new strategic market segments for BasWare’s Enterprise Purchase to Pay solution suite in the Netherlands, including government and finance.
“We’ve been partnering with BasWare for four years now. Ever since the beginning, I was impressed by the ease of use and flexibility of BasWare’s solutions. Thanks to the applications and support of the local BasWare operation, I Creative was able to become a leading player in the Benelux purchase to pay” market,” tells Erik van Doorn, Managing Director at I Creative. Following the success in the Benelux, I Creative will start reselling BasWare’s solutions also in Germany.
According to its internationalization strategy, BasWare continues to extend its partner network in Europe. Building of the reseller channel has started also in the United States.
“Our product suite has proved its competitiveness in all the markets where we operate. In 2007, we will continue to develop the reseller channel in Europe and extend it to, for example, Russia. Reseller operations through partners form an important part of our business and their share of product sales continues to grow,” says Jaakko Elovaara, Vice President, Global Alliances.
BasWare’s global partner network has been growing rapidly over the last years. In 2006, BasWare’s reseller operations grew by 26 percent, with 20 new partners joining the ranks. BasWare extended the reseller channel to Southern Europe with first agreements signed with Italian and Portuguese resellers.
