BasWare Einvoices participating actively in the development of e-invoicing
E-invoicing has been a topic of interest for some time - not only in Finland, but in other countries as well. Good examples of this are the forums and other standardisation committees that have been established to promote e-invoicing. BasWare Einvoices is actively involved in the European CEN/ISSS forum as well.
The aim is to create a unified customer experience
The Finnish e-invoicing forum is one of the oldest forums for promoting e-invoicing. For several years already, E-invoicing operators and other players have been reaching agreement on unified standards and working methods. The goal is to jointly define technical and commercial standards that enable better quality of service and promote networking between customers.
The benefits of such forums have been acknowledged in other Nordic and European countries as well. Finnish operators have been actively participating in establishing e-invoicing forums, especially in Norway and Sweden. The Norwegian forum is called B2B Connect and its Swedish equivalent NEA. The European Committee for Standardisation operates at the European level and is currently defining European e-invoicing standards.
Inter-operator agreements
An important factor in expanding the use of e-invoicing is for the senders and receivers to be able to identify each other. By agreeing on common e-invoicing standards and creating inter-operator connections between other e-invoicing operators, an operator can contribute to the networking capability of senders and receivers.
BasWare Einvoices currently has over 20 inter-operator agreements worldwide through which a customer is able to contact over 20.000 senders and receivers.
Expand e-invoicing to your subsidiaries
