Hello to all of you who long for invoice automation but don’t have orders to match invoices to. This blog post is for you – actually it’s not just for you, it’s for everyone who’s interested in what the latest release on the Alusta platform can offer them.
If you’re on the fence about transforming from the previous generation of Basware AP Automation solutions to the new Alusta platform, well, I hate to say it, but you’ve got one less reason to delay the inevitable. Version 1.3 now provides a very robust Match-Plans capability which in some ways mirrors the old Contract Matching functionality but get your hands on it and you’ll quickly realize Match-Plans brings a lot of ‘new’ to the table. If I were to highlight a couple of my favorite improvements I’d have to say the inclusion of the Plan Manager to the Alusta Professional Client is a massive improvement (rather than three separate clients: Matching Admin/CM Approval Client/Master Client). As great as that is, my personal favorite is the new capability which allows you to manually match invoices to Plans. Clearly a more holistic matching capability than we’ve previously seen in Basware solutions – and big news for Professional Users.
Those are just a couple of my favorites but v1.3 has a plethora of new features and functions which will make you sit up and take notice. How about the new inclusion of Basware Storage to both the Invoice Pro and Invoice Automation Solution Packages? Now you can import all the invoices from your existing solution to the new platform in a way that provides search and retrieval of invoices for all users – this continuity is going to be really important for your non-Professional Users. On the topic of continuity, v1.3 also brings more manual options into the workflow process. What does this mean for you? Well basically, the first versions of Basware Invoice and Basware Match provided a highly automated (and very advanced) best-practice workflow engine and interestingly, many companies just didn’t feel comfortable removing the human element to such an extent. Hearing that feedback we made sure v1.3 supports a comprehensive mix of automation and manual workflow scenarios that should support virtually every requirement.
Obviously I’m a fan of v1.3 and what it offers our customers and I’m pretty sure I can make you a fan too. Alusta v1.3 is set to be released March 18th but you don’t have to wait to get in touch. We’re ready to walk you through the latest and greatest features and functionality now – give us a call.
