Basware signs a significant purchase-to-pay and e-invoicing agreement with a major North American health care corporation
Basware has expanded its cooperation and signed a significant agreement with a major corporation in the health care industry in the US for the delivery of purchase-to-pay (P2P) and e-invoicing solutions. The customer will transition from its current Basware solutions to Alusta, Basware's unified cloud-based platform for purchase-to-pay. With the agreement, the customer will have the full P2P support provided by Alusta, including 100% inbound e-invoicing and scanning services, as well as supplier portal and supplier activation services, providing easy options for suppliers to start sending e-invoices. Also included in the agreement are Basware Analytics, which will provide immediate insight into their financial performance and a mobile solution, which enables reviewing and approving of P2P invoices easily, regardless of time and place. The value of the 5-year services agreement is approximately EUR 2.9 million.
"We are very pleased to strengthen our relationship with this long-term customer and to further expand support to their financial operations and core financial processes. The customer processes approximately 1.5 million invoices annually. Basware solutions enable them to cut costs and complexity and quickly switch to 100% paperless invoicing. They will gain spending transparency to help make better financial decisions. At the same time they can experience the true benefit of connected global commerce via the Basware Network, an open network that allows buyers and suppliers of all sizes to collaborate and trade", says Esa Tihilä, CEO, Basware Corporation.
