Espoo, Finland, 22 November - Esa Tihilä, CEO of Basware, the leading provider of e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay solutions, has been named as co-chair of the European E-Invoicing Service Providers Association (EESPA). He will co-chair the association with Charles Bryant, European Affairs Advisor at OB10.
This is the first time that the EESPA has appointed co-chairs. The EESPA believes that the shared approach and co-operation model, including the close support of the Executive Committee, will continue to provide sound governance and leadership of the association.
The EESPA acts as a trade association at European level for a large community of E-invoicing Service Providers. Members of the EESPA encourage the adoption of e-invoicing and work to support the vision and implementation of public policy towards compliant e-invoicing.
Esa Tihilä, CEO of Basware commented “The EESPA has made considerable progress over the past two years in terms of building both membership and governance. We have developed positions on key public policy affecting our industry. I am looking forward to holding the position of co-chair for another two years and continuing the influential work that the EESPA has begun”.
Basware continues to enhance the way that businesses operate their purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, offering the industry’s largest open commerce ecosystem for buyer and supplier collaboration.
